Coda Engineers and personnel are available for consulting services at your facilities to lend our experience and expertise in power conversion and related design to get your project out of a deadlock. We can generally determine over the phone or e-mail whether we consider your particular problem within our capability to solve. A few hours of our assessment and advice may save you considerable time and money in your product development or troubleshooting. In addition--through our CAD specialists--we can supply you with finished drawings in formats such as Autocad® of your sheet metal or plastic casting and enclosure requirements. No need to wait for your existing draftspersons to become free or indeed to hire someone that may have to be let go in a short time. Our extensive experience in Mechanical Desktop® and other programs will allow quick supply of drafts and final drawings to your specifications.
New product design
For your Custom designs Coda maintains a roster of competent Engineers which the company calls on to perform specialized tasks for Custom Power Conversion products. Electrical/Electronic as well as Mechanical Engineers at the Bachelor and Masters levels are employed on contract. The design may include Hardware or Software or both. Project management--to ensure on time, on budget delivery--is maintained throughout by Coda's administration. Although we welcome "design only" inquiries, our experience has been the supply of a turn-key product in some quantity, designed, developed, and manufactured by us.
Coda is pleased to work with you to improve or modify existing power conversion products that do not meet your needs. We have supplied our customers with many modified off-the-shelf products that fully met requirements. Product Repairs

Contract Assembly
Ask us to quote on your small to medium run thru-hole printed circuit board assembly requirements. We can provide you with quick-turnaround, complete procurement, assembly and test right to your receiving door. We employ on contract experienced assemblers working from small shops or their homes. Quality is maintained and assured through Coda Research Corporation so there is no need to deal with many sub-contractors to keep track of deliveries and status. This is a proven economical way the get small to medium projects off the ground without tying up valuable engineering or management time.
Value Added Services
Coda has supplied a great number of products incorporating Vicor's zero current switching DC-DC converter technology as well as Cosel's line of switchmode and DC-DC power supplies. We have added value through specialized testing carried out on these converters and power supplies for extended temperature, shock and vibration operation.
